I don't know if he actually added the damage, but I think he may have enhanced it. But what makes me suspicious is that last red-eye example. Red-eye occurs in low light situations when the light from the flash, the direction of the lens, and the pupil of the eye are all in alignment. You can see in that picture from the position of the specular highlight in her eyes that there was an off-camera flash (or other light source) used. Not to mention that it is a well lit portrait.

It's actually hard to tell. This guys a pretty poor HTML designer so he just resized the pictures within the img-tags. If you right-click on the picture, then copy the image location and paste this into the adress-bar you can see the image in it's original size. At least the first one does not really look soooo faked to me. But maybe I'm wrong or he just damaged the picture after scanning :o)

Anyway the red-eyes picture is indeed the greatest hoax I've ever seen!

After looking at that site, the only word that comes to my mind is: pathetic!!!

Gave me a chuckle, I think a few of them are real but the rest are so terribly fake. Especially the model/actor headshots that have been overlayed on a scanned piece of crumpled paper, on a few you can even tell which Photoshop brushes he used.
I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that they're fakes, or that they're bad fakes.

TBH I dont see the point in faking it - if he cant do it then he will struggle when he gets a real job.

They look fake to me as well. Can't say it's the first of such sights I've seen either. What I find interesting is this statement in their "Payment" section:

"We will bill you after the delivery of your pictures and then you can send money transfer to our US Bank Account."

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but no one has to pay until after they receive their photo?

DEFINITELY FAKE! How weird is this? I often do a search for "high resolution" in google's image search so I can practice retouching on people. Anyway, the first girl under the "basic" category comes up in a search. She definitely does NOT need work. Here is the link:

They have an interesting service offering outsourcing the creation of clipping paths and masks. That's actually a neat idea. I wonderif I should go back to my clients and see if they have a need for that.
