How would I cut this out. Those little hairs flying really make the difference. Are there tutorials? How do you post in the "Challenges" Section. Thank You.

-doubl. blue channel
-use burn and dodge tools(dodge set to highlights at 100%(your light background, burn set to shadows at 100% (anything but background)
-ctrl click
-go back ot the layers , apply mask

Check out this excelent video tutorial Here (http://av.adobe.com/russellbrown/AdvancedMasking.mov) It may take a little time to load but be patient because it is definitely worthwhile. Along similar lines as what cybercat has suggested and a valuable technique to add to add to your arsenal.

Before everyone reaches for the Dodge & Burn tools, channel mixers, and Russel Brown's cool video, remember that sometimes there is a quicker, less complicated way.
For most images like this, the Extract tool does a miserable job. However here the color and contrast combination works very well and produces excellent results in less than 5 minutes.

Videoav, for this image I just used Photoshop's Extract Filter. I traced around the young lady with the Smart Highlighter where the edges were well defined and had good contrast. However, for the hair / head I switched off Smart Highlight and used a 20 pixel highlighter brush.
The extract filter usually has difficulty with whispy hair and most of the time I use a number of other methods to create these "cutouts". However, for this image color / contrast combination, it worked well and was therfore the fastest solution.

Try use plug-in Background Remover. In latest version where is ability to process translucent objects (like wool or flying away hears).
Using Defringe tool you can unmix colors for correct background replacing.
