Ok....I am working on getting a high resolution of the picture at the top of the following page http://www.benttreefarm.net/Friesians.htm (that is me next to the driver :) ) I am writing to see if anyone has tips on extracting part of the water...I want to do an OOB type effect and think it could be really cool to have some of the drops showing out of the bounds but my attempt at extracting them has SUCKED!!!! I thought maybe because of the size plus the fact that I'm a newbie but whatever the reason I suck at it I know it is possible!!! Ohhh..and I'm using Photoshop CS2..Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Namaste,
Kristen

Extracting water can be very hard to do. Works a little easier if the image is hot against a blue background for example ( see http://www.pellepiano.com/studiobild/images/image11.jpg where I changed the backround ( bathroom ))

I would guess you first need to isolate the drops and then go into each of them and change the opacity on selective parts so the background will show a little.
