I took this photo of my daughter and someone suggested removing the shadows from her face to make her "glow" a little more, to offset the background (which is clearer than her face, argh).

I've tried using the clone brush (psp7) and also duplicating the layer and using screen mode but that one just seems to wash it out, I like the rest of the colors the way they are. Any suggestions?

Here's a quick attempt i did using a Dodge & Burn softlight layer.

Then blurred the bkgd a little with Gausian blur.

played with the saturation a little bit.

I like it, it looks spiffy!!
