I just got my graduation picture and it's horrible! I've got about 8 chins! I'm really disappointed and was wondering if anyone could help me slim the pic down? I've had a go myself but am not very good with photoshop! I've had some success using liquify but am struggling to get a smooth finish. I'd like to lose/reduce the double chin and slim down the sides of my face.
Anyway, the pic should be below and I'd be really grateful to anyone who can help!

Another one here using liquify (use Warp Tool in the liquify toolbox).

Tip: Use freeze tool to mask any areas you don't want to affect when using the Warp Tool in the Liquify Toolbox.

Haven't gone quite as far as LQQKER.

New layer and used a 10% clone brush to soften some areas a little.

Sorry, I had to remove and repost. Seems I posted the wrong one, however, I don't think there's much difference to speak of.

A higher resolution photo would have been better to work with.

Nik filters for shading.
Removed a few blems.
A bit of eye makeup to compensate for shadows.

before i did any liquify or warp i'd correct for the obvious lens distortion here. whoever shot this picture probably used a low millimeter lens and has distorted you with a bit of a fisheye effect. so, i just reversed the process a bit with 'lens distortion/fisheye'. not sure what the equivalent is in photoshop but i'm sure it exists.

attached is the fisheye correction without having fixed the edges afterwards just to show what this filter does. you would then either crop the fixed image and make a new one of that or stretch or fill the edges and then do any warp or whatever else you wanted for the chin and such. but the basic problem is one of lens distortion.

My attempt was to try to emulate Vikki’s amazing work on Aylaah.
I changed the hair style without thinning the face.
Although I did do a little to the neck.

I also got rid of that distracting light triangle at the bottom right.

Congratulations Graduate!

1. Used the liquify tool for slimming effects. The key with working with the liquify tool is slow strokes. That way you can keep the effect under control and more natural. Just move a little at a time.

2. Then I used some filters to even out the photo and brighten it up.

3. The healing brush and patch tool were used to lighten lines, noise and dust

4. Applied a noise removal filter to lessen the noise and artifacts

5. Finished with a curves adjustment for just a tad of tone boost.

I thought the neckline would look better with a little lift.
I softened the area under the chin.
And made some minor tweaks.

Congratulations Horse Babe on your graduation. Your happiness radiates through those lovely smiling eyes... Duplicated the original layer, selected the jaw area feathered around 20 , filter/distort/pinch, used the pinch filter at 50%, applyed a white mask and painted back any changes the pinch filter made to the lips nose and mouth. Used a slight curves adjustment. Tell.

Congrats I am really new at this so I gave my best go I used the Liquify tool and pulled the sides in, I also go back and forth between Paintshop I like the smoothing channels there so I smoothed the skin for a nice blend I highlighted the photo and added contrast I also Saturated the background. I hope You Like:)

I worked on slimming the face. In this case I selected edges of the cheeks to include some hair and copied the selection to a new layer. I then moved the layer in some to thin the face. I also slightly distorted the photo by elongating using the image size command.
