View Full Version : I need some SDK help Doug Nelson 08-21-2006, 11:04 PM Go to adobe.com and download the Photoshop CS2 SDK. It isn't easy, but it is free. Don't supply "how to find it" advice or URLs to anyone, just report back if you downloaded it from adobe.com (elsewhere doesn't count, and please don't share the actual SDK) or not.
I could use as many people to try as possible, even if you have no interest in the SDK. I'll be forwarding this thread to Adobe.
(The SDK is the Software Development Kit which is the developer's guide to writing plugins) Doug Nelson 08-21-2006, 11:10 PM Oh yeah, if you already have the SDK, or if you pay for one of Adobe's developer programs, this isn't aimed at you. I'm looking for examples from people that have never tried to get it before. NancyJ 08-22-2006, 04:14 AM Nope, couldnt get it.
Once I actually managed to find where to get it I got Insufficient privileges (HTTP 403 error) Doug Nelson 08-22-2006, 04:29 PM Thanks for trying. Anyone else have better luck? Sanda 08-22-2006, 09:25 PM need to be registered as a Developer and partner to be able to log in. Photo678 08-22-2006, 09:48 PM what makes you think you can download it without request? Marthig 08-22-2006, 10:15 PM I am also registered at the adobe resources center but have to fill in a form that is obviously designed for developers so I didn't fill any info, and tried to see if I could just dwld the windows version but got the same message as NancyJ "Http 403 error - insuficient priviledges"
Sorry :( -
P.S.: In view that you subscribed in August 2001 is it perhaps a 5th anniversary of RetouchPro ? :bigthmb: :classic: :wavey:  Doug Nelson 08-23-2006, 04:12 AM I never said you wouldn't have to request it (part of the "it isn't easy" proviso).
Martha: RetouchPRO moved to this forum in August, we were around before that. I filled in (very skimpily :D ) the request form yesterday.
Now waiting for autorization via e-mail.
Rô Doug Nelson 08-23-2006, 06:05 AM You've already gotten further than I ever did. Let me know if you're "approved" or not.
Anyone else get this far (or further)? makeovermagic 08-23-2006, 07:20 AM i, too, filled out the form and am awaiting approval -- 2-3 business days.
