Hi all,
I am in the process of purchasing an Epson 9800 and need input from anyone with experience on this machine. I am looking to purchase RIP software. I am on a mac, however, I am considering letting my 20 something son take on this part of the business, so need something user friendly! Possibly something that works cross platform. Has anyone used either the Color Burst RIP or the Image Print RIP? These are the two suggested rips from the vendors I am working with for quotes. Pros, cons, etc. I have absoultely no experience with a RIP. Will be using the machine to print photo art to canvas and art paper. I am purchasing possibly this week or early next and need more input than just someone trying to sell me something. Any help is greatly appreciated.
