I know it's not perfect, but I'd crop to minimise the blur

There is not much you can do!
The second picture is totaly ruined, you can trow that away, sorry!
The first can be improved with image manipulation, best with another donor image! But that's a lot of work!

anna, welcome to RP.
difficult image. i ran Unshake at 'normal, portrait, 15, x1' and it was... better. i then took it into psp and did some more clean up of artifacts and replaced both people's eyes. hope i got the colors right. did that with psp's red eye remover. did some more cleanup and also ran usm at 3 radius, 120 strength, 5 clipping. resized to 640 x 480.
all i can say is, it's better :)

Anna,
Challenging pictures. Tried to fix the first. To complete the work I would need some extra body parts (a pair of hands). Don't have anything in my stocks, so I just placed a set of drums in front. I post a version without the drums as well; anyone with good pair of hands (literally and figuratively) could continue the work...

P.S. I have to compress these files a lot to get them under 100k. Anna, if you plan to use the files, I could e-mail them to you.
