I have been looking for a tutorial to use with Photoshop CS2 which will enable me to "fade" or "blend" two photographs together. There is probably a technical term for this process but since I don't know it, my searches have been fruitless. Thanks for the direction.

Well one way is to make sure both photos are the same size. Open both photos. In photoshop, use the move tool drag one photo on top of the other. Now you have two layers on the one photo. The photo you moved is on the top layer. Now to blend them you decrease the opacity of the top photo so that the lower layer shows through.

However, there are different techniques depending on what you are trying to accomplish with the two images. If you get stuck, just post the 2 images and describe how you want to blend them and the good folks here at RetouchPRO will have lots of suggestions for you.
