Got a picture of the ring? It's easier to show than to describe, that way you get to see whether the end result is what you want.

Hi,

I think these are the brushes (http://av.rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0Je5WyTRQFF.UABtqRrCqMX;_ylu=X3oDMTBvdmM3bGlxBHBndANhdl93ZWJfcmVzdWx0BHNlYwNzcg--/SIG=12f7kehl8/EXP=1157797651/**http%3a//share.studio.adobe.com/fsroot/1807/4211/Sparkleb.abr) Palms was referring to....

... and here (http://graphicspost.tripod.com/brush/brush1.html) are more Star_Sparkle Brushes ....(Babsstars..)

Hope this helps...

You can make it sparkle, or make it shine by doing using the eliptical marquee tool, fill with white, then gaussian blurr it. It makes diamonds appear shiny.

The star like brush is also fine, but gives a different look.

See the attached sample I did for a client.

in Paint Shop Pro you can also use the 'sunburst' effect or the illumination effects.

i like that, vchiline. very professional.
