Hello Everyone,
I want to thank everyone in advance for their critique of my new website. I have been doing this stuff for quite some time. Also, I would love to take any constructive criticism. Please read the front page before you read the other stuff. I am NOT a web designer, so I made this page in iWeb (a part of Apple's iLife programs). I think I've made use of it the best I can, but I am not positive, so that is why I am here.

Thank you again.

Sorry, last night your pages seemed to take ages to load, but this morning they are loading quite acceptably. Maybe it was my broadband connection.

Chris,

I really like the colors you've chosen. The soft blue and green, and the orange really go together well. The rough pastel borders are a neat touch.

You are a good looking guy, but I would definitely lose that picture, or maybe put it on another page, perhaps an "About Us" page. I'd chose your best work, and stick a before/after image in it's place on the home page.

I would not go into details on your home page. It's main purpose is to grab customers and lead them into the rest of your site. Your home page message could instead be put on your "About Us" page.

I'd definitely suggest you use rollovers for your navigation buttons. A google search for "how do I make rollovers" will provide you with the help you need. When the mouse moves over the individual buttons, they could rollover to a slightly brighter shade of the green you are using.

Lastly, I'd remove the prices from your "services" page, since you already have a "prices" page.

Have a look at my site and please feel free to give ME critique.

Chris,

All in all, I like your cite. Has a professional look to it. "Examples" page looks great, some of the examples are just cool...
Not finished yet, some sort of Acknowledgement "cite under construction" would be in place.

A few comments:

A disclaimer: you may get all kinds of opinions...basically reflecting personal preferences, so I just give my prefs:

-I don't think I like a picture on the home page. I think it was meant to symbolize a damaged picture about to be restored... overall feeling it was done in a hurry...

- I would say that a navigational bar usually goes of the left side (or top of the page). Feels a awkward to see it on the right side

- More detailed description of the services...

- Cross-linking ..List of services on the service page... may have services on the list linked to the corresponding pages ...to examples...in general moer organised structure.

Best regards

Pavel

Don't think that was just an agressive marketing program. Some sort of script was running on the background of the web page the link was pointing to. Still wondering what that script was.
