How to repair damage caused by the sun and a picture frame. This tutorial will outline how to repair the discoloration caused by a photo’s uneven exposure to the elements. In this case the uneven exposure was caused by a picture frame.

I am using PhotoShop CS2 but there is no reason this won't work in any other image editing program so long as it supports layers.

I'm not sure this will work on all images though I don't see why it wouldn't. [details (http://www.retouchpro.com/tutorials/?m=show&id=245)]

Wow Kerry! Your tutorial was excellent........ you did a beautiful job of explaining and showing through your use of pictures and screen shots exactly what you were teaching.

It is very difficult and time consuming to write a tutorial, especially one that doesn't assume the reader knows more than they do nor one that talks down to the reader. In addition, yours was very upbeat and encouraging in such a way as to inspire confidence....... what a wonderful job you did, thank you!
