Hi,

... finding your way in a new site can be a very frustrating experience.. ... and placing a new Thread in the right Forum even more so ... :bawling: ....

No problem  ... if a Thread has been misplaced, the mods will move it to the appropriate Forum ... Fact is... the mods have tons of Threads and posts to deal with, so, you can help them to help you by following these simple steps:

* Read the short description under each Forum's (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/) heading to get an idea of what it covers.

* Use precise wording when titling your Threads:

'Help with faded picture, with noise, scratches, exposure etc. will also get you a lot better responses from other Members than just "HELP!!!!".

Thank you! :pleased:

Thanks, Flora!

It also makes it much easier to search for threads that are relevant to particular problems.

One of the most frustrating things I came across when searching for advice on shadows was the thread titles in search results - it meant opening many threads that really didn't have any kind of focus on shadow removal at all, it's just that 'shadows' or 'removing' was a word used in the thread somewhere.

Had more thread titles been better representative of the specific thread content, my frustration levels at the time would have been wayyyy down!

Thanks, and regards,
Petra :)
