Hello All,

My photoshop skill has improved since I started reading this site. Now I have another question.

How would you remove the clouds and shadow (lower right corner) in the attached photo? I've tried healing brushes and clone stamp for the clouds with moderate success until I got close to the edge of the church.

I also tried selective color but couldn't get the exact sky color to come out.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Dan

Duplicate layer.
- Used Select =>Color Range to select the clouds.
- Edit=>Cut
- Lasso Tool to select a large section of sky from the middle of the picture.
- Layer=>New Layer via Copy (twice)
- Move one to the left side and one to the right side. (under the layer with the clouds removed. I needed to use Edit=>Free Transform to enlarge the left side.
- Used eraser to remove any remaining cloud fragments.
- Image=.Adjustment=>Hue/Sat. for the left side, moved the Lightness slider slightly to the right.

Hi Dan,

No really easy way to do this (that I know of).

I just created a series of patches, copied to new layers, and applied layer masks to blend them in. Needed to distort one or two to fit with perspective.

Bit of cloning to hide edges and cover the odd little bit here and there.

Bit of a quick job this, so may not have got everything just right, but with a bit of time you should be able to get it better.
