my name is mario and i am new to retouchpro..just wanted to say hello to all of you and show my first attempt in retouching. the pic shows my wife dana.. it was taken during a photoshoot the other days...
i use ps cs2 and want to improve my skills in retouching like some glamour or fashion artists. Especially i like jil greenbergs or amy dressers style a lot and so i found this board where the stlye is disussed...

i immediately tried this to the pic of my wife and want to know your opinion on it.. what could i do better ? please feel free to take the original pic and show your work as well so i can learn from you :)

You have done very well, that is a good retouch!
Don't forget to do the eyes, there are veins that could be removed and in your painting with light on the light layer, paint a low opacity yellow into the brown of her iris to make them pop!
