Hi!

I'm quite new to retouching photos.. I found this site accidently and thought I had to try this..

I was pretty amazed about the skills of some of Yours.. I indeed had some experience with Photoshop, but never retouched a photo..

I'll post 2 versions of the retouched photo.. 1st is original, 2nd is retouched..
Please tell me honestly what You think about it!

Hi ecols,

welcome to RetouchPRO!! :pleased:

I think you did a very nice job with your restoration, very subtle minimizing of lines and adding colour to an otherwise very pale complexion!!!

Hi Ecols,

Not too sure the "new" hairline works, looks a little unnatural, but for a first attempt its a commendable effort.

ecols, welcome to RetouchPRO.

i agree with the others. very good for a first time.

what you can do to make it just a bit better now, is take your clone or heal brush and set it at a fairly low opacity, like around 15 to 25, somewhere in there and go over the areas where a touch more blending and smooth transitions would help. do this on a blank layer with 'use all layers' set and make sure that layer is on top of the rest of the layers. and for an even finer/smoother blend there, add just a tiny amount of gausian blur to that layer, like 1 or 2. all this will help erase any left over clone marks you might have.
