i suppose this is where i would post this...

i was blown away this week to learn someone who was once very special in my life was killed in Iraq last Sunday at the age of 23. he was my former stepson -- i was very close with him until the age of six, when his father and i divorced -- i remained close with his mother, however (my ex's first wife, mother of the now deceased) ...

i was able to get his military picture from the internet, copied from a newspaper clipping, and i would love to have some input as to a memorial collage of some sort that i could put together to give to his mother. i have written her a letter and would love to send a really great framed photo for her.

i have attached the photo of him (i had to blur his face) from the newspaper as the first attachment and have attached what i worked on as the second attachment.

any thoughts, suggestions, ideas, anything would be greatly appreciated. i would love to see what others would do with this as i've never done anything like this before.

nice sentiment. i'd make the picture of the man a bit more prominent, larger, since he is the focus of the overall image.
