Kraellin 10-16-2006, 02:12 PM paint shop pro can do all of that, at least from version 9 and up. not sure about 8 or 7. take a look at the warp mesh tool in the tool bar. I have Paintshop pro 7 is there a mesh/warp tool in this model or do i have to buy a new version in order to get bigger eyes and longer necks superkoax 10-17-2006, 01:07 PM nice video, but what is the commersial all about? the dove sel esteem fund? is giving retouching a bad name...

The video and campaign are about real beauty not the Photoshop manufactured type.
Too many girls and women are falling ill and dying to achieve the state of "perfect" beauty and too litte attention is paid to the true beauty within the girl is what the campaign says to me.

I don't have 7 but it is in Paint Shop Pro 8 and up. (I own Paint Shop Pro 5, 8, 9, and X. Not entirely happy with X's bugs. I have to go back and forth between 9 & X)
Try this:
Right click on your menu bar and choose customize -> scroll down on the left side and click tools -> scroll down the right side and look for warp brush and/or mesh warp.
It is possible it is already on your tool bar in the deform tools.
This link to a tutorial was posted on another thread which I can't find right now.

That's great to know because I have Photoshop CS2, but not Paint Shop Pro. What is Photoshop's equivalent to Paint Shop Pro's "warp mesh tool"? I've tried Free Transform but it throws a rectangular outline around the selected area, and when a corner of the rectangle is dragged, the side of the selected area on the opposite side gets dragged, too (though not as much) and ends up getting torn away from the non-selected area.

-- mike elliott shellby 10-26-2006, 01:28 PM Just use the good old Transform littlemike 10-26-2006, 02:43 PM 1. I looked at your online portfolio. I want to be you when I grow up.
2. When I use the transform tool, it creates a rectangle around the area I have selected. When I tug on one corner of the transform rectangle, that moves like I want it to, but side of the selection opposite the corner also gets tugged in the same direction (though not as much), causing it to tear away from the non-selected area. I hope this description makes sense . . .
-- mike shellby 10-27-2006, 12:50 PM You need to select around the area you wish to stretch, feather it at about 5, then do COMMAND / CONTROL J to copy the selection to a new layer. Then do the transform so that you can rub back to the original underneath. admirer 10-27-2006, 06:01 PM That's great to know because I have Photoshop CS2, but not Paint Shop Pro.
