I used to work as a retoucher for a local photog, and we used to do things like remove ears from people and such, as a joke..... In this case though, I think the situation is a three light setup, umbrella on the left, umbrella on the right, and maybe one up above or in the background....the "cleavage" seems to be the shadow cast from the two lights on the side, from her denim jacket. And you can see the same type of softish shadow being cast around her neck from the collar NancyJ 10-17-2006, 02:26 AM Its just a shadow and an over-reacting mother, desperate for 5 minutes of fame. Perhaps she shouldnt dress her 'baby' like a cheap trollop in the first place, a denim jacket at a shirt so low cut as to show this imaginary 'cleavage' isnt appropriate for a 'sweet, innocent' 7 year old. If some sick perverted mind wanted to doctor the image to give her boobs, you would imagine they'd give her nice ones - not saggy gaping granny boobs. It just doesnt make any sense that it would be photoshopped. Photo678 10-17-2006, 02:55 AM Perhaps she shouldnt dress her 'baby' like a cheap trollop in the first place, hahhahahahahha!!!, that's great! chrishoggy 10-17-2006, 05:30 AM Does look like a cross-over shadow to me If some sick perverted mind wanted to doctor the image to give her boobs, you would imagine they'd give her nice ones - not saggy gaping granny boobs. That made me laugh my head off :bigthmb: :bigthmb: :bigthmb: raniday 10-17-2006, 06:44 AM NancyJ always seems to see right to the root of the problem. My friend has a little girl, and it's hard for her to find "little girl" clothes for her. The style seems to be street walker. creeduk 10-17-2006, 10:42 AM I agree shadow, if that was an edit it was a really bad quality one. It is amazing how quickly people jump to the media for attention. byRo 10-17-2006, 11:12 AM NancyJ always seems to see right to the root of the problem. Fully agreed! The part that most worries me is not the mother, the kid or the photographer but... Eyewitness News showed the photo to several photography professionals who all said it appeared to have been doctored and likely was not a natural shadow.(bolding mine) Professionais that don't know that two diagonal "half" shadows will make a full shadow where they cross over? Ah, c'mon! These guys are giving us a bad name. Rô HannibalVector 10-17-2006, 02:00 PM This image is defenitly NOT manipulated. And as an amature I am going to give those photography professionals the advice to find another job. It is so obvious that those shadows doubled. And if...if this image was manipulated, then I could do it way better! Littlecoo 10-17-2006, 05:43 PM Hmmm... musta been a really slow news day eh! All I could see was a crossover shadow, ignorance and paranoia but, alas, no cleavage. It can't be good for the little girl to splashed all over the news for such a lame and fickle reason. byRo 10-17-2006, 08:24 PM ... musta been a really slow news day eh! Wouldn't say that! It did beat the story about the man that got run over by his lawn-mower. Rô |
