For those of you who use AVG Free for your Anti-Virus, there's a new edition (7.5) out now.

Thanks Gary.
Looks like current users don't need to download and install the update separately. According to Grisoft, current users of version 7.1 will get an update dialog for 7.5 within the next couple of weeks. The old version will be discontinued January 15, 2007.

I tried to install it in Vista RC2 and the service will not start after the install is completed. Grisoft claims that 7.5 is Vista compatible, but I didn't have any luck getting it to work even still they clearly state:
This new 7.5 version with improved performance and full compatibility with the latest Windows Vista version is available.

I've no experience with Vista, so can't help you with any problems there. Have you contacted Grisoft about this?
