I'm trying to add a new sky to a picture and I'm using the "blend if" sliders in the layer style options. But I would like to make some changes to this blending. Is it possible to create a mask from this blending, that could then be manually corrected?

Hi Remi,

After setting the blend-if sliders the way you want, turn off all layers except that one, then select the channel palette tab, then ctrl-click the thumbnail of the channel whose opacity you want to capture. Now you have the opacity in a selection which can now be put into an alpha channel (click the "create-new-channel" button) or put into a layer mask and then edited with curves or brushes et. al.
