Hi all-

Does anyone know of a tutorial to help with this-

I have a picture of a wedding party taken inside on the dance floor. The bride wants the background replaced with an outdoor scene. So I have a nice shot of a pond with a grassy area with fallen leaves in front of the pond. There is space for them to stand in front of the pond - what I need is some advice on how to make the feet look more like they are actually standing on the ground, not just floating. I added a drop shadow, but I think it needs a little more, or perhaps just better advice on how to add the shadow.

Thanks

without seeing the actual photo, you might try airbrushing on a blank layer and then adding a gausian blur to the layer.

Cedwar, the approach depends a lot on the composition and lighting of the two images. It would be best if you could post small versions of them (or partials) for folks to look at. Sometime a drop shadow doesn't work but a reflection will.
