Enjoy the ruins of Caesarea, Israel and a blurry picture we saw quite often on our journey...laundry, which was snapped from the bus window as we rolled on by.

Janet Steve Conway 11-23-2006, 12:52 PM A couple of ideas. Steve Janet Petty 11-23-2006, 07:10 PM Not bad Steve, not bad at all. Love the laundry especially. My take on the colorful laundry. Janet palms1 11-24-2006, 06:23 AM Wonder what it is that makes laundry quite a fascinating subject ? great photo Janet, here is my ahb attempt and am now of to play with the other two Palms manta1900 11-24-2006, 07:12 AM I prefer them as a photo! Enough "alteration" as been made by time! Gary Richardson 11-24-2006, 07:49 AM Hi Janet, Love the pictures, middle one cried out to be a sketch. Kraellin 11-24-2006, 09:08 AM gary, i like that. what did you use? Swampy 11-24-2006, 09:36 AM Like Gary, I thought this one would make a good sketch, but I added back some color. Gary Richardson 11-24-2006, 10:58 AM Hi Craig, Bit of a mishmash of techniques. Created a "paper" layer using technique from a link posted by Danny the other day (can't lay my hands on it at the moment). This was in a seperate document. Back to Image document. First duplicated image twice. Desaturated new copies, and inverted top copy, set blend mode to Colour Dodge. Applied Gaussian Blur to top layer and adjusted radius to get best result. Flattened image and applied Angled Strokes filter to it (can't remember settings). Duplicated this and applied Gaussian Blur to it (radius about 2 pix), set blend mode to Multiply and reduced layer Opacity for effect (about 60% I think). Flattened image, then copied/pasted to "Paper" document. Set blend mode to Darken. (I may have altered layer Opacity a touch, can't fully remember). Swampy, I really like yours, the colour works nicely. Swampy 11-24-2006, 11:02 AM Thank you, Gary/ Janet Petty 11-24-2006, 12:41 PM WOW!!! I love the techniques done as sketches. This kind of stuff is why I posted them. I couldn't figure out what I was going to do with them (other than the slideshow I'm working on, of course :) ). Isn't laundry great. That was a statement not a question. Now if ya'll want me to upload the other 1498 pictures?????????  Thanks for the great work all. Keep 'em comin'.
