Hello, my mother in law is wanting me to remove the person holding the horse in this picture so she can frame it and put it on the wall for a Christmas present to herself. I've done some work on it but, cloning a lot of the surrounding items over the person, but when it comes to the part where his arm is hold the horse under its chin i have no idea how I can make that look okay? Does anyone have any advice they could give me? Thank you all in Advance.

I guess you mean the man with the red hat. Well the background has some dark windows and a flower pot. So on a separate layer you can select that area and clone windows and flowers in. The flowers came from the right foreground.

Unfortunately Phil removed one arm too many. I'd guess the forward arm of the two is the one to retain. Otherwise his advice is on the nose (so to speak).

Good Point, but I figured the guy in the back with the red hat was holding on to the horse with both hands. The man in the right forground had his right arm down and behind the lady. But the point I guess is how to clone.

Additional thing to consider:
I moved the couple on the right a little closer to the horse. Girls shoulder next to the horses nose. See attachment for the cutline. Also, I think there is another unwanted person in the picture. I have circled this area on the left side. I straightened the image (rotate 1.8 degrees) and cropped to a landscape 8"x10"

I also noticed two distracting white dots above the man with the red hat.

I want to remove the lady from this photo and was just wondering what would be best way to do this via photoshop i have tried a few things so far but not really happy with the results,any advice would be greatful,thanks.

If you had other pictures of the bar or you with that shirt it would make things a lot easier.

Hi mate thanks for that incidentally(i know you dont want to give toooo much away but what did you use assuming you did it in photoshop) i can probably work from that good stuff,would like to know what tools you used,i tried a few options but just didnt seem to get the right pic no what i mean..thanks

I did use photoshop...nothing special just copy, paste, mask, and paint in. Some cloning here and there

Funny enough that is my dad who passed away some years ago,and as for his ex that was his widow,who i might add i could not stand and still cant to this day...
