Hi: I am doing a scrapbook layout. They are saying people are doing a function called journeling and then use Leading in CS2 to line up the words. Does anyone know where this function is in CS2 and how to use it? Neb

Go to WINDOWS and select the CHARACTER PAL. The pallette has two columns. The first selection in the right hand column shows an A over an A with an up and down arrow. Open a new window in Photoshop and select the text tool and type enough text to form two lines. Now, select that text and place your cursor over the two A's and hold down your mouse button and move it from left to right, etc. and the two lines you typed should come closer together or move farther apart depending on the direction.

Now to change the character spacing between letters, select the AV with a double arrow just below the A or A. Be sure that your type is still selected and again with your mouse cursor over the AV and holding your left mouse side down slide from side to side and you should see the type contract or expand depending the direction you go.

Of course you could click in the window next to the letters and put in a setting if you already know what you want.
