Wishing you all the happiest Festive Season possible! CJ Swartz 12-21-2006, 09:09 PM Neve, your "Desert Rose" is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing it with all of us! Season's Greetings to you also!! Janet Petty 12-21-2006, 09:26 PM Beautiful Neve. Americans make such a big deal of winter wonderland type weather for Christmas that most of us forget about those south of the equator who experience Christmas in the warmer months. So I have to ask...How's the summer weather down there in Australia? Merry Christmas to you as well. Janet palms1 12-22-2006, 01:24 AM Merry xmas and a happy new year Palms jasalf449mt 12-22-2006, 06:25 AM Merry Christmas to the staff of this wonderful forum and to all its members. I wish you also a New Year full of health, wealth and all your hearts desire. Alfred (jasalf449mt) Malta Cassidy 12-23-2006, 08:07 AM As I take five minutes out of my hectic Christmas preparations to soothe a burn, I realise that possibly this burn is designed to make me stop and reflect a little. I recall as a child, loving Christmas with the excitement of visiting the Christmas Tree on Christmas morning to travelling to my aunt's each year for the extended family Christmas Dinner. My aunt possessed the most amazing Christmas Spirit. Her efforts, and the magic she managed on Christmas Day each year was absolutely awe inspiring. Trully to me, she was the Matriach of Christmas. Now as an adult I am trying to weave the same sort of magic for my family and friends, but it is so very easy to be caught up in the hectic pace that sometimes, we fail to appreciate the joy in the simple things, and to tell those for whom we care, that we do in fact care. So take 5 minutes to recharge, and remember that Christmas is a time of happiness and cheer, and you will indeed have a Happy Christmas as the happiness and cheer you exude will be intoxicatingly felt by others. So have a wonderful and happy Christmas and a great New Year in 2007. Artwork done in Corel Painter and finished off in PaintShopPro. Keep safe everyone...! Flora 12-24-2006, 06:26 AM Weather for Cape Town Forecast: Monday, 25 December 2006 Min: 17°C Max: 24°C ... and from here to all 'RetouchPRO' friends ... wherever you are ... my best wishes for a Happy Christmas and a Great 2007!!!! Cassidy 12-24-2006, 09:50 AM I am from Victoria, Australia, today we are especting a top of 16, somewhat distinctly cold from a week ago, thankfuly the latest downpour of rain has drenched the smoke from the bushfires, is a rather bizzare season so far Cassidy 12-25-2006, 07:58 AM What a weird Christmas, I live in Victoria, and it was freezing today, a quote from one of our newspapers: "But in Victoria, it was the coldest Christmas Day in 150 years that brought "significant" amounts of snow to Victoria's southern regions, including a 30mm drop at Mount Baw Baw, according to the Bureau of Meteorology. " Amazing to think early last week we were sweltering in the heat and suffocating from the smoke from the extensive bushfires, lol. Quite a few of the burned out areas actually received a blanket of snow as a Christmas blessing.
