Hi all,
Someone took a candid photo of me and my professor on our trip to the Bahamas - I was wondering if anyone can make my stomach look tinier? I think it might be a little challenge given the positioning of my arm.
Any attempts would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi Jen,
I used the liquify filter in Photoshop CS2.

G'day Sobe, Are you asking for someone to fix your photo for you or do you want some help and suggestions for doing it yourself?

Well I used the liguify folder too after I adjusted the dark foreground with Image adjustments shadow highlights. In a few spots I selected a small area and copied that to a new layer and used the move tool to nudge the copied area toward the midline.

I used curves with a mask to lighten the image.
As I could not get the liquify filter to give me what I wanted, I played with the shadows and created more shadow around the stomach area with sharper shadow margins.

I think the "Pucker" tool in the liquefy filter is the key.

I made three selections and copied them to new layers. Used the nudge tool to move them to the center. I think reducing the stomach requires that the thighs be reduced also. Then minor cleanup.

Thanks so much, everybody - all of you did a fabulous job on a hard task. I am officially done with vacation photos =)
Merry Christmas!!
Jen
Thought I'd give it a try since I haven't done anything like this before.
I just cloned in a little on each side.

I approached it with redesigned clothing, to some extent. Although I thinned her out some I think this clothing approach leaves more to the imagination exactly what her weight is. I think everything could be corrected by shadowing alone but I’m just not that good at shadows.
I used curves too.
BTW, we have two people holding a camera being photographed by a third.
And the toes at the far left corner... I bet he/she also has a camera.
