I am in the planing stages of setting up a small business that will generate postcards/greeting cards to a small select group of people. I have most of the images I need, and am now looking at printing these. I would prefer to be able to print these at home, so they will be on demand, rather than taking them to a printer where I would not only have to cough up the cash in front but if some of the items did not sell as well as others I would then be stuck with a while series of cards.

Can anyone recommend a decent color printer (Inkjet, Color Laser, Dye Sub, etc.) that is not a financial backbreaker?

Ive been using Epson 1280 for years its about $350. I just started up a Epson 3800 pro and love it $ 1250. I have both on line. Cost per card both sides and time could be up there.
