This isn't our standard critique material in that its a bit personal and its a slideshow. Still, I'd like you comments and suggestions about it. Here is a slideshow of a small selection of my grandfather's photographs that I have restored. As you can read on the "About" slide he was strictly amateur with low end equipment but he had the 'eye'. It is limited in that their are few people pictures here, just objects that some will find nostalgic.

Am I too proud?

Note: some clearly flawed images included for sake of the story.
Note: The objective was best possible picture and the strict definition of 'restoration' were not adhered to.

you should be very proud. your grandfather definitely had an "eye" -- some of those photos are breathtaking. the only thing about your slideshow that i would try to change is the second page that it goes to where you have the long text portion. it goes too fast for anyone to read it. Can you pause it on that page a little longer?

otherwise, great slideshow!!

Thank you. There are controls at the very top of the page. Run your cursor up there and they will appear. Thank you for viewing and for your complements. :)
