Hello everybody,
I found this site 2 days ago and i am very impress by your works. (Excuse my bad english, i am French and not at ease with forums). I would be proud to have yours "point of vue" on my own work. This is a picture of my grand-ma, and i work on it to make a present to my own mother. So if there is someone who can give me some advice or comment , i would be grateful.
Have a nice christmas

Herve, welcome to Retouch Pro. I think you did a great job repairing all the cracks. I think the contrast adjustment is a little too agressive because some highlights (most notably in the faces) are too bright.

Hi Herve', I'm new here too, but welcome anyway. And by the way, you're doing great with your english, I'm jealous of you multi-linguals! Anyway, I think your work is beautiful. Of course you already know it's high contrast, and yes, some areas of the faces are blown-out, but none of this bothers me personally. I think it's lovely and I know your mom will adore it.
Au revoir :)

thank you for your warmth welcome !
I still have to find how the gallery function to post other of my works. I read that the pictures doesen't have to exceed 200 k on the gallery so my pictures looks a little more "visible", i work, most of the time, with pictures in 300 dpi so they are heavy. By the way, i return on photoshop to try to understand how this ( :heul: ) layers works !
I wish a very good year to everyone !

Welcome Hevre, just as Mistermonday said before...
you should check out the DARKER AREAS on your photo as well... some places are darker than others and they should all have same depth of darkness just as same brightness levels.
All in all you did a good job, i would rate it 80-85% out of the 100% (which is very good!).
