Being just a little computer stupid, I did a search, and couldn't seem to find what I need.

We have PSE2 loaded on windows XP Professional, and I Just got my first digital camera, and printer. The PSE2 software came with the printer.

HOW do you correct converging verticals, and also level horizons? I have also tried the "Help" function, :o: and it didn't. Any guidance and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanx

Here's a site with lots of Photoshop Elements tutorials one of which is straightening.

Copy and paste into your browse address bar.

To change prospective, go to Image>Transform>Perspective. With an image or layer active, you will then see a bounding box with little open squares at the corners and at the middle of each side. Put the cursor on the inside of the image very close to a corner with the control key pressed. When really at the corner the black arrowhead will change to a gray arrowhead and then you can change the length of the side, changing the perspective.

You level sides by going to Image>Rotate. Some of the choices rotate just a layer and some the whole image. Watch the label carefully and you will get the rotation that you desire.

I am using PSE5 now and can't check specifically how this was done in PSE2 but as I remember it was essentially the same way.

Hope this helps.
