Another one I found at the Eldorado site (now gone sadly)
Mine done with at little tiny bit of Lucis then 3 passes through Impressionist with a few tweaks afterwards.
Hope you enjoy doing this one.

What a beautiful model Peter. Thanks for sharing and allowing us to play. Decided to do a WC this time. I used Fotomatic's Hi-Spot filter on a separate layer set to Grain Extract, merged down and set the resulting layer to Overlay to get the colorful saturated effect. For additional simplication, I used a Warp Sharp Script-fu; note that I did other things, but don't ask. :)
how about this kind of scetch

Great renditions by all! Here's another one - Impressionist in Photoshop. Masked and restored some details - eyes etc. Slight smudging on these restored details. Pulled into Painter and did a soft watercolor layer.

Lovely woman, great photo! A joy to work with.
Water color. All Photoshop CS3 Beta
Several tweaks to the color of the original. Mostly removing yellow from the whites of her eyes, brought more light into her face etc.
Then "Swampy's Line Drawing" technique. Several difussions to the resulting black 'n white, some smudging of the background, surface blur.
Merged added a little paper texture, AHB with chalk brush at various opacities.
I'm not sure why, but I feel I'm getting closer to realistic soft water color looks and I'm very pleased with the results. I think I'm getting "looser" and more comfortable in Applying the AHB brush strokes and varying the opacity etc. On this one, I didn't try to color everything, and the result was more white spaces, gaps and variations in color depth lending a more realistic watercolor look.

Peter, Thanks for the nice pic!
Great job, everyone.
I used Deep Paint for my attempt.

Now listen you lot.
Can someone do a bad job for a change? I would really like to say "mine is better than that one". BUT I can't with this lot.
Thank you all you've given some more ideas for stuff here.

I had to have a go at this one since she looked so much like a princess. It's not much just your basic smudged sketch but I had fun playing around with it.
Enjoy,

I have a question about file size, is the file size for posting still set to under 100kb? :dizzy:
Thanks in advance,
