Can anyone familiar with ProShow Gold from Photodex: http://www.photodex.com/ tell me which of Adobe's extensive offerings most closely emulates it? Drag and drop, ease of use, extensive range of effects, multiple captions, unlimited slide images, output to flash, quicktime, and others, etc.
I am required to use an Adobe software for a specific client.
TIA

Well, I went to the site to see what it is all about and I can't even play the tutorials. They require a "tools" download and they are for windows only and I'm on a Mac. You'd think they would put their tutorials into some kind of "lowest common denominator" format.
Most of what you want to do can be done in Photoshop which will let you make standard HTML or Flash presentation galleries.
I'm not sure if the stand alone Photoshop comes with Bridge, but Bridge has a ton of filtering and batch renaming tools.
As far as slideshows. I use iPhoto or iMovie on my Mac, but I'm sure you have comparable software available on the PC.
