Any features worth having? thanks,Seems like I read that it will not ship until end of February 2007. The new brush feature/function looks interesting and the "more Photoshop-like" layer management (in terms of merging/combining) to me is a real plus. Whether it's worth the price of upgrade will be an individual call. I will probably wait for the X.1 patch before taking the leap. Corel is not known for releasing real clean initial release software. glikster 02-21-2007, 09:52 AM The RealBristle brushes are superb!! Try it out. I meant IX-5 T Paul 02-22-2007, 09:16 AM I just got mine today. Upgraded from Painter 8. So far I am impressed, but I better be because it's over twice the size. :) I'm looking forward to experimenting with the RealBristle Brushes and the Photo-Painting system. Also for you Wacom owners (http://www.wacom.com/privileges/index.cfm), don't forget they offer discounts on various products and Painter X is one. |
