You need better material to work on - its very obvious where the retouching is because the compression and noise have been removed, whereas other parts have been left. A bad base image will always be a bad retouch.

I think you are off to a great start.. when you finish this picture it should look very nice.
.
This is my quicky
background copy
selected face, shoulder, neck, mask out eyes and teeth for gausian blur at a radius of 2.9 set to luminosity at opacity of 65%..
Selected teeth.. Hue/saturation layer adjusted red and yellow
selected eyes hue/saturation layer Screen 100%
hair and background gausian blur at a radius of 1.8 set to luminosity at opacity of 65%..
healing brush on wrinkles and moles and where ever else needed
A final luminosity layer about 75% to bring back a little of the original so as not to look so overworked

A quick job for sure and still a lot of work to do...

Did I mention that I like what you have done thus far? Your skin tones are much smoother than mine

very bad material to work with and normally i wouldn't waste my time (on a bad image) but I thought what the heck. Attached is my 5 min attempt :dizzy:
