We have a new Synthetic Imaging forum (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/synthetic-imaging/), all about rendered images and images that incorporated rendered content. Puzzled? Check it out, it's not that complicated (well, it's complicated as all getout to do, but the topic isn't complicated).

Our March contest (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/contests/16636-mar-07-contest.html) is up. T is away for a few days, so she set it up in advance and I just posted it (so the blame is all hers).

Email me potential contest or challenge images (thumbnails first, please) to dnelson AT retouchpro.com. I'm (perpetually) particularly looking for self-portaits we can improve or disprove. But I'm also low on everything else, even ideas. So send 'em on!

I've also started a Free Plugin Shootout...thingy. If it catches on I'll make it a separate forum. Details here (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/software/16621-fps-free-plugin-shoutout-shootout.html). My similar idea for a Retouching Detective section (use Search) didn't pan out. Maybe this will have better luck. These things die in literally a day or two if no one grabs the flag and runs with it.
