I have a passion for animals and for creating Artistic Portraits of them. I employ a light touch when modifying the photograph into art... My clients enjoy the images as such...

Used the default Chalk settings in Impressionist and blended with the default settings of Paint Engine's Bad Chalk preset after doing so many preprocessing steps that I stopped counting (and also did this several hours ago just before work, so I wouldn't remember those if I even wanted too) for this rendering. I used CS2's Emboss filter for the relief; set the result to Linear Light and dupped a few times. :)

Ikroll - You motivated me into working with Impressionist, so here is another attempt...

When I move ten feet from the monitor, close one eye and squint the other - the graphic doesn't look half bad...

Hey George; I really like Impressionist. It' an extremely powerful simplifier. Along with Paint Engine, it really helps with this process. These two filters are the reason I now have CS2, otherwise, I'm a GIMP guy. :)

I was wondering if the doggie may be related to the Hound of the Baskerville
