Hi,
At the moment I am using Elements 5 and have been watching a Photoshop tutorial for Extracting a person with Whispy fly away hair from one background and placing them on a different background.

Elements doesn't appear to have the same functionality in this area.
For example the Background Eraser tool doesn't have the Protect Foreground
colour function like Photoshop does.

Is there a Workaround for this problem ?

Please could you tell me the best way to extract the person using Elements 5 ?

Thanks for your help
Darren

check out this tutorial...works pretty well.
much better than messing with any background eraser or other tool.
