I found the procedure a little difficult to follow but the results are impressive and there are great (as in BIG) before/after and interim images. (click on an image for the large view)

Although CS2 is specified, I did not find any steps that excluded PS7 or CS.

Danny, you always come up with great links to expand our borders. I'm always eager to try them. This one, however, keeps give me the missing page notes. Do you have any other suggestions?

I searched for 'watercolor' from the 'missing' page and found a link to the following pdf page (You'll need Acrobat installed to view it).

Not sure if it is the same page that Danny suggested.

Thanks for helping out here.... Much appreciated. Although not the same tutorial, it's a good one -- a classic as a matter of fact.

Excellent find Danny great tutorial really liked the results, had a quick go, had no problem using ps7, think i would reduce the "ink" layer a bit more, and simplfy the tut for reference and maybe there could be a action made for this ?

Thanks Danny

used the daff photo from my yellow flower thread

I used the steps in the tutorial as a guide to make this one. (I did not follow the instructions to the letter.)

Unfortunately this was a "rush job" (I ran out of time; kids, you know). Under normal circumstances I would have painted in more color. The point was to try the tutorial.

Like most methods it will work on some images and won't looks so good on others. Overall, I like the possibilities.

The original image is available with the tutorial.
