View Full Version : Dragan and/or Fiscus Style Fabian 03-16-2007, 05:23 PM Hi everyboy.
Mi son wants to have a picture from him in the Dragan and/or Fiscus Style. Is there anybody here who can help us? I have made a picture from him at my studio.

Here is the large version (http://www.enigma-photos.com/AVForums/Fiscus.jpg) Sweetlight 03-16-2007, 06:46 PM Enigma, That's awesome, I am not even gonna take a shot at it, yours is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!
c TetoPR 03-16-2007, 07:06 PM Very nice, enigma! I want to be draganiced too!
Seriously, can you share with us what you did? superkoax 03-16-2007, 07:17 PM here is my rough try...made in 10min...haven't done any skin retouch...just adding light and background...didn't have any good backgrounds, so I ended up with a picture taken from an urban street somewhere(free stock at www.scx.hu)
Gerry superkoax 03-16-2007, 07:20 PM enigma: nice one...just a minor flaw is in the ear...it looks like something is sticking out of it, but it's the light that shines trough...lucis art this???
Gerry Daviskw 03-16-2007, 07:53 PM Hi there
Desaturated...darkened and sharpened.
Butch skydog 03-16-2007, 10:05 PM Still trying to figure out how to do both styles...but here is my current attempt...hopefully I'll figure it out in time. enigmaphotos 03-17-2007, 01:21 AM Very nice, enigma! I want to be draganiced too!
Seriously, can you share with us what you did?
LOL... cheers.
The one I did took about 15 minutes.
First thing first was to replace the background by masking out the grey backdrop and letting the graffiti show through.
Then I used these two tutorials, in this order.
Lucis Arts Emulation (http://www.enigma-photos.com/LucisArtTutorial)
and then
Amy Dresser Technique (http://www.enigma-photos.com/AmyTutorial) (method 1, method 4 and finally method 5)
@ superkoax: I tweeked the effect on the ear and reloaded the file here.
The large version link (above) now points to the new version.
Thanks for the comments everyone. Maybe later I'll try the true Fiscus style which will take longer than 15 minutes. ruud92 03-17-2007, 05:56 AM My try.
just Channel mixer -> monochrome -> ONLY blue +100%-> set layer on Hard light. and i have some things done on the skin..;) enigmaphotos 03-17-2007, 06:35 AM I quite enjoyed this one so I did another for fun. Influenced by Florian Schneider. mistermonday 03-17-2007, 10:17 AM Another try with a background.
Regards, Murray stockriderman 03-17-2007, 11:35 AM here's my shot at it
http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/1272/draganizervb6.jpg dkcoats 03-17-2007, 01:24 PM I used a Draganizer action by Sharon Lee Core that I found...somewhere. leuallen 03-17-2007, 02:55 PM Used techniques similar to enigmaphotos. Put him in the getto.
Larry jenniferfrances 03-17-2007, 03:00 PM here is my attempt.
I think this technique is best used on aged faces. It was a challenge to enhance the pores & lines of this youthful face.
but hope you lile. admirer 03-17-2007, 05:47 PM I gave this an attempt using filters and blend layers with a touch of burning at the end. Its not great but i like it. Leuallen, I like the background you have chosen. The pose itself is quite static and that long diagonal in the background makes the whole picture look much more dynamic. Great choice.
I have never tried this style before and didn't managed to get that desaturated, dark, oversharpened, high contrast, blue-steel look. In fact, I ended up with a highly-saturated, airbrushed, almost cartoon effect.
Syd edgework 03-17-2007, 09:42 PM How's this?
