This is a picture of me. Yay... Blah! I have tried editing it quite a few times, but was wondering if there are any other people who can give me a different approach?? Any advice? Does anything look completely awful? I'm attaching the original and a couple of attempts that I've made. What do you all think? Thanks! Love, Meg

Hey Meg,
I added a few tweaks. Brightened her eyes up a bit, softened her down, slight crop, fixed her hair and her eyebrow. Her lips a bit brighter.

I like what you have accomplished with your edits Meg, the only changes I would add would to be something to warm the images up. I think of weddings as warm and romantic. You could try a warming filter or perhaps adding a color balance layer.
Here's my take. Thanks for sharing the picture.

Thanks for the edits, you guys! Here's a side by side before and after. Well, actually, they are both afters, but I wanted to show the differences that I've come up with...
The one on the right is my latest edit. It shows texture in the skin, the eyes are not "evilish," as my friend over here put it, and the tlips are a different color. Slightly. Also, I clone brushed that shadow on my jawline. I think it adds definition. What do you think of that? I'm still debating whether or not to lighten under my eyes... We'll see. But, what do you think so far? Anything else I'm not doing that obviously MUST be done in wedding pics? I know I could soften it more. Anything else? Thanks!!! Love, Meg

maybe brighten the eyes of the bride a little and reduce those red lines a tad

Cass, you mean the red lines on the whites of the eyes? I never thought of that. Thanks! Megs

Here is my version. Just did a light retouch and color correction.
Hope you like it.
