What retouching was involved in doing this photos?

i think it's al the model's body here...there is no liquify>! some girls do have a very small waistline(right word?)...wouldn't there be any distortion in the space between the arms and waist here if it's been done with a liquify tool?

but color effect on the clothes and face is the all good dodge and burn...There is a guy called enigmaphoto in here he has a very nice tutorial on dodge and burn to achieve this effect!

I wasnt talking about the modles waist.. that was from her wearing a corset, but the image has been heavily retouched.. it looks like a painting

Thankyou for your help

gosh, really, you think so? i'm not trying to be glib, but it doesn't look that heavily retouched to me... maybe on your high res version that you're seeing maybe, but as far as i can see, it's just saturated colors with some basic retouching of the skin...

could you be more specific as to what you're asking about?

cheers

let's start with the obvious edits- the edge of the background curtain is mirrored, then slightly altered. Look at the piece on the left that looks like two elongated eye-like shapes...you have the exact same shape on the right, with one additional line. That curtain isn't affected by the light that's on the model; I think it wasn't in the shot at all, but comped in. It's hard to tell at this resolution, but the channels have some extra data that would lead me to believe that the flesh and hair have been retouched, with maybe some opimization on the shape/contour on the arms. I think the bright streaks of hair color was intensified, or that it wasn't in the original shot at all. The waist was probably not edited, though. Check out the stray hairs on the left...unless the retoucher is very fine, most folks wouldn't add this type of detail after shrinking the waist. It was alsocolor corrected pretty heavily; but all in all, a very nice job on the retouching! I don't agree that it looks like a painting, but don't think that in this case that it would be a crit.

The eyes look dodged.
