I was wondering if anyone had any printer recommendations when it comes to printing retouched photos specifically.

I am considering purchasing the canon i9900 photo printer. Does anyone here have any experience when it comes to that particular printer?

Stunning initial color output. Unfortunately it is a dye-based ink set. While not as bad as some printers, the dyes do loose their punch and eventually fade noticably over time. Because of the fading issue, I would never use this for a commercial retouching business. Look at one of the newer pigment-based printers.
