I am looking for a tutorial on the following. I dont know what its called so thats why I havent searched.
What I want to do is take a face and a picture of rock, or fur, or whatever and combine the two so the texture follows the shape of the face, making it look like its a face of rock or fur or whatever...
Help??? :heul:

It is called a Displacement Map and there are many tutorials available, the links to which I do not have at the moment. The basic process involves saving a good contrast monochrome version of your texture or image (like a rock or flag etc). Then applying the Filter>Distort>Displace to overlay that map onto the image you are working on.

You can also do the same thing with texture mapping. See my tutorials. Save your texture map as a Grayscale. Play with blending modes for different effects.

Look at page 6 (read the rest first to give you a good grounding with this tool).
