My Wife and I are very new to digital photography and I'm trying to learn about retouching photos and such because my Wife is not interested in that side at all. I've come across this website: http://www.photoshopmama.net/products.html that have some PS actions for sale. I'm wondering if anyone here uses or has used this Powder Action? If so, how would you rate it? Is it worth buying for $20 bucks? Thanks very much for your time and any help.

(Be adviced: I'm a total newbie)
I think there are two local tutorials that can get you started into that kind of retouching, I suggest you look into both and then decide if you want to spend the $20:
Dior Look (http://retouchpro.com/tutorials/?m=show&id=209)
And
De-Grunge (http://retouchpro.com/tutorials/?m=show&id=213)
Of course, that is assuming you got the time to play around and see how the techniques works.
Again, if you got the time, you can look into the other two I've come accross in http://www.sxc.hu/, those are:
Air Brush (http://www.sxc.hu/blog/post/476)
And
PRo Retouching (http://www.sxc.hu/blog/post/379)

Thank you. The last tutorial looks pretty straight forward and alot of what I was looking for. Thanks again.
