Here's a photo I'm retouching...looking for some suggestions on getting the flash glare out of the picture and touching up the colors. Thanks!

This is my try on the project. Mostly cloning and a color adjustment.

I've used a softlight layer to remove light form face of the boy painted a softbrush at 8% op. on it with black, and same brush i've used on the girl's face with white.

quick fix......went into Lab for color boost, lighten things up....then just did some sloppy D&B on the existing highlight and shadow areas. i like the orange light in the background the way it bleed onto the girl and the wall....too bad it's right off of the guys head/face.

Looks awesome except I think the color of the dress is a little too pink ;)

I love the satin look that you gave the picture :)

The colors are very nice and bright...if you smooth the boy's right cheek and bring it in a little I think it would look great!

I thought a high contrast look would suit this picture. You lose some detail but I think it looks pretty decent. Try increasing the saturation if you like that colorful look. Again, this was a pretty quick job, more details could be salvaged if you take time using masks.

Deezy - Love seeing it with the high contrast ;)
Here's my take on it with the Dragonizer Action.

To be honest, I cannot really go into step-by-step. I was playing while at lunch :classic:

I adjusted the levels, played with shadow/highlight, then I cloned and cloned and cloned (I even found a donor ear). From there I did some selective color tweaking and then burned and dodged.

Grafx - I love it...awesome job on cloning the ear...I think the donor ear is a perfect match lol

I had a few extra minutes this morning and I did smooth the face and moved the cheek in a little. I believe with the other replies to your post that you now have a pretty good idea as to what the possibilities are.

this is such a bad photo in the technical terms. The lare, the light that comes in from the back. It's almost impossbile to get perfect without noticable outcome...Maybe you can give us something more of these shoots?

The idea is good...

Unfortunately, it's the only photo I have of this particular shoot :(

the szene looks like a snapshoot so i don't care for the light from the back.

here is my try on it. hope it gives you ideas for your own postwork.
