Hey guys,

I have been reotuching for a while, but not much fashion with people.

I was hoping someone can take a look at the before and after and let me know how I can make the image better, or what i did wrong.

Sometimes I look at it and think its ok, then sometimes I look at it and it looks to flat. Maybe I should dodge the cheek structure a little more? Also, I think her lips look odd as well.

Let me know your thoughts

Thanks

I think the vignetting works well but you might tighten it more to the model on the left.

The dress is represented very well. Colors look accurate and the details are crisp.

There are a few things I'd specifically do different.

1. Work to keep details in the sides of the belt and the hair of the model. You've brought down shadows so much that all detail is lost in these areas. When you use Curves or Levels to bring your black point down, adjust your midpoint up to keep these details. You might even try a dodge and burn specifically in those areas.

2. I would also keep pulling down the hot spots on the model's face as well. Try to eliminate the shine a little more.

3. There are a couple of wrinkles on the shoulders and arm where the fabric has bunched. I would smooth them out for a finished edge to the silhouette.

Excellent job otherwise! Keep up the good work.
