Hi, :wavey:

I followed the directions on the web page entitled, "How to Run Actions in Adobe Photoshop Elements 3, 2 and 1" and managed to get the "Hello World" action to run. However, I tried to get and action called, "ArtActions", from Renderosity.com, to run and couldn't do it. The .psd image shows up in the Effects palette, but I can't grab and drag it onto my image. The cursor doesn't turn into the little grasping hand when I click on the image. I just get the circle with the diagonal line through it. Double clicking doesn't work either. I looked at the troubleshooting section, but didn't see this exact situation. Am I just outta luck? :(

Thanks for any and all help,

Molly

Try redoing the code, you likely just left out a character or something...Actions run -- they don't have a choice ;-)

Hi Richard,

What keeps happening is that only one action (BWPenSketch) will run. None of the other three will. They are ALL just contained in one .atn file called ArtActions.

Thanks for your help,

Molly :classic:

If you are running the actions through Effects, each action has to have one action file -- one-to-one. If not, you will only get the first action in the set to play. Is that what is hapening?

If so, send me an email with the file zipped as an attachment and I can separate them out for you/.
