I have been browsing this forum for awhile now reading up on all the useful retouching tips you guys have. I've been asked to remove the water from the paving stones in this image...and I'm a bit stumped! Any thoughts, advice or suggestions would be greatly apprectiated :nod:

it seems to me that on the darker wet spots you can use the dodge tool on a soft light layer with 50%grey...this wil lighten them up...then to the more shiny parts is to clone or use patch tool to copy over new dry areas...tried it my self and it worked nicely...

Hm...a bit tricky. The only immediate (easy) thing I could think of was to run Neat Image on it and then mask out the rest.

I've had a go (as I have to send the job off really quickly)! I selected squares individually, used the median filter & lowered the opacity to around 30-50% then used levels to brighten them up again. Added some noise & cloned here & there. Definately a tricky one & unfortunate I don't have much time to spend on it! I look forward to any more thoughts & advice from you guys!

on more tip: maybe try to get rid of the branch on top of the house? And the branch in the top right corner....they steal abit of view IMO...maybe switch places if they want to keep the frame around the picture bushy and natural :D
