Hi folks, I was a few days busy with this photo of Rosario Dawson , it was a lot of work for me, especially the belt, with that perspective etc. But I want it perfect, so if you have any tips or what else you can say about it, Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the reactions, I have looked back on my word. and yes, 'Theveed and NancyJ are right, the skin looks to blurred, (especially the fore head, the rest I did a little bid) And it looks not natural by a Red carpet photo, its like NancyJ set 'The look you've gone for is a more typical of a fashion shot ' so I give her more natural things back like it would be on a red carpet, after photo or something. The thing what The veed set, 'less is more' I know, im going many time wanted to perfect, to think it looks good, but after all it looks not really real haha;) so thanks for al you’re feed backs and thanks about the eyes!

Her skin looks blurry, like u just blurred it. Not good. Try leaving more of her natural skin in there.

Overall, I would tell you "Less is more."

I think its a little too much for the context of the picture - by that I mean that its clearly a 'candid shot' outside an event. The look you've gone for is a more typical of a fashion shot where a certain level of 'expected' by the viewer, in this type of shot, retouching is not expected by the viewer so it must be much lighter and more natural - the viewer has to believe that the celeb really could look like that on the red carpet.

Hey there I had a look an in my own opinion I think the skin looks a bit too smooth & touched up and a little to blueish? But nice try tho, I think her lashes look really good! And her lips a nice colour too. Good luck!

Couldn't agree more with NancyJ. It's the image content and environment that dictates the direction the retouch artist should take...Very clean work tho :)

I like what you've done with her eyes, but you need to be more care cleaning up her hair. You have left the edges of the stray hairs, which to me looks messier that having the natural fly away hair. If you are going to tidy it, you need to be even more precise I think.

Yeah, what NancyJ said, basically. Remember in what context the photo is in. It looks a bit like Madam Taussad's paintings. But a good start.

2nd close up is alot better! Although I still think you could see more of the skins natural texture, you know about duplicating a layer> high passing and setting blend mode to overlay right?
You can have many different layers of detail with different radii (radiuses) and tweak to opacity to suit your needs.
Also try this tip from enigmaphotos......
Go to your channels and select the blue channel. Copy this channel by dragging it to the 'New Channel' icon. You should have something called 'Blue copy'.
Do a curve adjustment so that the white highlights are more pronounced and the mid tones and shadows drop to black.
Make white your foreground colour and then click Select>Colour Range. Slide the fuzziness slider till it looks like you have picked a good range of highlights.
Go back to RGB mode by clicking RGB channels
Go back to your layers now and add a new layer over the top of your photo.
Press ALT-backspace. This should fill your selection with white.
change the layer mode to overlay, soft-light or hard-light depending on the amount of shininess.
It is sometimes a good idea to slightly blur this layer.
Add a mask and paint away the areas of highlights which look unappealing.

But DO make sure you blur this layer and mess around with the opacity
